Dr. Marcus Eriksen built a kayak made of 99% recycled plastic which includes plastic bottles to make the kayak float. He rides his "Cola Kayak" down the entire 52 mile Los Angeles River and promotes environmental awareness by discussing the drainage of the city, what animals can be found in the river, and the effect plastic that travels down this river has on our oceans.
